Several pilgrims who go to the Monastery of Kykkos, but also foreign visitors stop to rest in the chapel area.
A modern, vaulted temple on the top of the hill of Fidkias was built in 1986. The interior is decorated with modern frescoes. On the south side of the chapel there is an oversized cross (25 metres high), which is visible from far away.
