33 km east of Pafos.
At a cool altitude of almost 700m above sea level, between the Paoura mountain and the Xeropotamos valley, the remote and peaceful village has less than 300 inhabitants. Apart from enjoying its tranquility and natural setting, visit the local Church of Agios Ceorgios and the Chapel of Archangels Gabriel and Michael. A cultural centre in the village sheds light on the Kelokedara’s local heritage. As you leave the village, drive through the forest towards the nearby Monastery of Panayia Tou Sinti. En route you will enjoy a stunning example of the island’s rich flora and fauna.
